. this is surveillance video taken at a 7-eleven store in sanford, where the 17-year-old bought skittles and a can of iced tea before heading back to the townhouse subdivision where he was staying with family. 20 minutes later, he would be dead, shot fatally once in the chest by george zimmerman. today's document release includes crime scene photos, including this one of zimmerman's .9-millimeter handgun, the first time we've seen it. these photos taken by sanford police show the injuries zimmerman says he sustained in a fight with martin. he had a broken nose, two black eyes and a gash in the back of his head. the autopsy report also details the gunshot wound to martin's left chest that killed him. it's surrounded by a gun powder burn called stippling. that suggests zimmerman's gun was fired at near point-blank range. the two men were no more than 18 inches apart. diagrams also note martin had a blood spot on his head, a bruise on his eye and small scarring on both hands, all suggesting he had been in a fight. toxicology reports also reveal martin had a chemical residue of marijuana in his system

vacancy. and then when i graduated, moved out to san francisco about 12 years ago. i always loved sanford cisco in college, and i just wanted to try it out. i started working in economic development policy. i was a community organizer for six years. i worked with young people, parents, and families around issues that concern our neighborhoods, whether it was improving muni lines, affordable housing, public schools, or just planning issues in neighborhoods. we just had a hearing last week, and we are trying to do some work around bedbug enforcement, which is a major issue in the tenderloin and of hill and 63. a hearing will actually be on thursday, april 7, 10:30. we're doing our first hearing on pedestrian safety. i think public safety is a huge concern. it ranges from both low-level crimes to pedestrian safety, and so that is a really important issue to me. we are probably more than double what every other district has. and that are preventable. and we can do better. district 6 is one -- home to one of the most diverse constituencies. we have the poorest residents in san francisco. we ha

sanford, florida, tonight. kerry, good evening. >> good evening, brian. we're getting our first look at never before seen photographs of defendant george zimmerman taken at the jail after he was taken into custody the night of the fatal shooting. we're also getting a chance to look at some photographs of the crime scene where the neighborhood watch volunteer shot the unarmed teenager. that was on february 26th. george zimmer man has claimed self defense. and there is this photo of the weapon that george zimmerman had with him that night. it's a 9 millimeter cal tech pistol. there are also audio recordings with witnesses, and there are long interviews with witnesses where the verbatims are played out. in one of them, one investigator reported to his interview with trayvon martin's father, which was also taken on february 28th, i asked mr. martin if the voice calling for help was that of his son. mr. martb, according to the interviewer, who was clearly emotional, responded no. that's in sharp contrast to what trayvon martin's mother has said, saying indeed the screams for help were her
